Fifteen to host its first wine event with top Italian wine producer, Pieropan
We're pleased to annouce that we'll be hosting our first ever wine event on Thursday April 22nd. The event will be held in conjunction with legendary winemaker, Andrea Pieropan. As a fourth generation family winemaker, Andrea continues a strong tradition of beautifully balanced wines of the highest quality from the ancient hill town of Soave, a few miles to the east of Verona.
The event, to be held in the Fifteen Dining Room, will begin at 7.30pm with an introduction by Andrea and will be followed by a 
five-course tasting menu designed by Executive Chef Andrew Parkinson. Some dishes include crab and lobster ravioli, brasato al Valpolicella and baked chocolate torte, all of which embrace the regional food of Verona.
Andrew says: “I’m excited to be creating an exclusive menu for this event. For our signature tasting menu, it’s designed so that our sommelier pairs the wine to the food; it’s great to be doing it the other way round as it really brings the wine to life and showcases the versatility of Pieropan’s wines.”
We’ll also be joined by a long-standing friend of Fifteen’s - Liberty Wines - who are the industry experts in sourcing premium Italian wine, having received the accolade of ‘Specialist Merchant of the Year’ in 2009. They’ve also been a strong supporter of Fifteen’s apprenticeship programme and welcome a team of chefs each year to help develop their knowledge of food and wine from the Veneto region. We’ve used that experience to put together an exciting menu which should bring to life six of Pieropan’s stunning wines, including a special first-ever release of their much-anticipated new red wine; the 2006 Amarone della Valpolicella.

This special evening is priced at £110 per person, which includes a five-course tasting menu with wine pairings, water and coffee. A discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to the bill.
