Pass It On day event

Primary school students ~ Monday 15th September 2008. 

Each school brought 4 students between the age of 10-11; all of which are part of the 'E13 Learning Community'. We welcomed:

1. Selwyn Primary School
2. Plaistow Primary School
3. Upton Cross Primary School
4. Portway Primary School 

The children worked in their school groups on stations and the teachers were also given a station to join in.  Andrew demonstrated to all, then assisted if a group needed more help.
 
They were all really well behaved and followed Andrew's instructions.  They particularly liked doing the messy stuff - breaking up meringues, mixing in sauces or cream etc.
 
After making the course, they all got to eat it - obviously tasted good as there wasn't much left over!
 
At the end of the session they took home a Fifteen menu, eager to go and demonstrate what they had leant to their families this week. Here is a recap of the pasta dish and dessert course.
