May 2010 - a tribute to Simon Kinder

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Simon Kinder, a long standing friend and supporter of Fifteen and the Jamie Oliver Foundation.

Simon was a regular face in the restaurant, and also attended all our annual fundraising events over the past eight years as well as many graduation ceremonies.  He also kindly donated many prizes towards fundraising activities, along with equipment for our kitchens. He was regarded as energetic, engaging and passionate with lots to offer....all-in-all he was a great guy who was praised by all who knew him.

Simon’s family have kindly suggested that a donation be made to the Jamie Oliver Foundation, in lieu of flowers at his funeral. We are very touched by this gesture and it demonstrates how passionate Simon was about what we do and our work with young people. Click here to visit the JustGiving page to find out more.
