Fifteen joins San Patrignano at their annual food event, Squisito!

A team from Fifteen chefs and graduates participated in San Patrignano’s annual four-day event, Squisito!, which was held on Friday 30th April through to Monday 3rd May. Squisito!, meaning “Delicious”, is an event “dedicated to good taste, fine food, and to those who never tire of trying new flavour combinations or sampling long-forgotten culinary traditions.” A team of six from Fifteen joined like-minded charity Homegirl Cafe to host a stand at Squisito!, which was an opportunity to showcase our work on an international platform with over 30,000 visitors from around the world.

San Patrignano is an inspiration to Fifteen and we are always looking at ways in which we can strengthen our links. It is the most successful drug rehabilitation community in the world, having helped over 20,000 residents since its inception in 1978.

The highlight of the event was seeing three chef graduates from 2005, 2006 and 2008 working together, alongside our professional chefs and Homegirl Cafe. Angela Morris, Fifteen’s Marketing Manager says, “it was overwhelming to see just how successful San Patrignano is and how much appreciation there is amongst the residents. They’re not inhibited by their past, they strongly believe that they can be the best at what they do, whether it’s their award-wining pizzeria 'SP.accio' and fine dining restaurant 'Vite', graphic design studio, furniture and carpentry, textiles, bakery and vineyard, to name just a few."

Fifteen would like to extend a very big thank you to San Patrignano for their support and friendship.
