Fifteen shortlisted at the Cateys 2010
Fifteen was thrilled to be nominated for a prestigious Catey Award for ‘Best Independent Marketing Campaign’. The Cateys award ceremony - held at Grosvenor House on Monday 5th July – is regarded as the Oscars of the catering and hospitality world. The nomination was in relation to the successful launch of Fifteen’s limited edition knitting kit, which was one of our best selling retail products of 2009.
Facing some tough competition, Fifteen was one of three finalists, but narrowly missed the prize, which was awarded to Dukes Bar for their ‘Bond about Town’ campaign. Congratulations to Dukes Bar.
Angela Morris, Fifteen’s Marketing Manager, says: “the knitting kit was a fantastic project to work on as we used a by-product of the restaurant – wool from our lamb supplier – to create a limited edition retail item. Not only was it a sustainable and collaborative product, it also taught our customers a new skill, which is what Fifteen is all about. It has been hugely rewarding to see the great press exposure of our knitting kit, both within the UK and abroad. Better still, all profits from this product were reinvested into our purpose, which is to train young people to become the next generation of professional chefs”.
