Jamie’s Food Revolution Campaign

In the United States more than two thirds of adults are overweight. One person in three is obese – that’s 72 million people.
Today’s generation of children are predicted to be the first to die at a younger age than their parents due to obesity-related bad health.

If people rediscovered how to cook at home and if school meals were healthier, then these shocking statistics could be reversed.

Following on from his campaigning work in the UK, Jamie Oliver is taking the same message to the US. The campaign is highlighted in a six-part series, called “Jamie’s Food Revolution” which premieres on the ABC Channel this coming Friday (March 26).

US citizens are being called on to sign the petition to save America's cooking skills and improve school food. After the TV series airs, it’s Jamie’s wish to take it to the White House and show The President and First Lady how many people across the country really care about this and ask for their support. Thank you for your support.
