Fifteen Chef Apprenticeship Scheme


Do you really want to be a professional a chef? Well it takes hard-work, commitment and dedication to be an apprentice at Fifteen London but in return you will learn a lot from our dedicated team.

Whether you're out on one of our amazing sourcing trips, being mentored by our professional chefs or being guided through other life issues, we'll support you in any way possible to kick start your career as a chef. We'll teach you how to cook, understand food and learn how the restaurant industry works.

Please note that the closing date for applications for the 2010 programme has now closed. We will be taking applications for 2011 from April – May 2011.  

The Selection Criteria


Are you Eligible ?
In order to be eligible for the programme you should meet the following criteria:
* Be 18 to 24 years old
* Not currently be in education, employment or training (NEET)
* You should be  able to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship with guaranteed housing
* You must be living in the Greater London area  for the duration of the apprenticeship
* You must have a good command of spoken English language

(We cannot accept applicants who have an NVQ qualification higher than Level 2)

We also look for people who are:
* Passionate about food and cooking
* Really, really, really interested in being a Chef
* Determined and Enthusiastic
* Happy to work as part of a team

Still interested ?
* You'll need to work hard and long hours (late nights and early mornings)
* We need you to be committed to the apprenticeship for 1 year
* You must be ready to start fulltime by  September 2011.
* You must be available for interviews and assessments  taking place from early June to the end of July 2011.
* No previous experience in hospitality needed, just bundles of enthusiasm!
