“One of the biggest lessons I’ll take with me is that you don’t need to treat people badly to get results. I hope none of us become like the old-style breed of chefs that treat people like scum because that’s how they were treated on the way up. This place has shown me that respect breeds respect and it’s something I’ll take with me wherever I go."

Asher Wyborn, Fifteen graduate 2003

Jamie and apprentices

“Fifteen changes lives. It really does. Kids who thought they were nothing and life had nothing for them. They are now chefs earning good money, in relationships, with good futures. London is full of young people who feel left out…kids who are stuck in crappy housing, no work, at risk of getting into drugs and in trouble with the police. All they need is a chance, in a work place which is really for them, with people willing to share their knowledge and skills. That’s what Fifteen offers our young people”.
