Set up in 2002, Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen is a social enterprise that uses the magic of food to give unemployed young people the chance at a better future. Every year the restaurant recruits 18 people aged between 18-25 and trains them to become professional chefs through its unique apprentice programme. They’re taught to love and respect food, learning everything from traditional bakery and butchery to the finest pastry skills.
"I'm proof of the power of Fifteen. Fifteen sorted me out and gave me a trade and I now have a career as a chef."Ben Arthur, 2003 graduate
