What is Fifteen?
Fifteen is a commercial business with a purpose – a global social enterprise with young people at its heart. Fifteen has four restaurants worldwide - Amsterdam, Cornwall, London and Melbourne – all of which operate a pioneering apprenticeship scheme for young people, between the ages of 18 and 24, alongside the day-to-day running of the restaurants.

Where does the name Fifteen come from?
Fifteen is named after the first cohort of 15 young people who joined the London chef apprenticeship scheme in 2002.

What is its purpose?
Fifteen’s purpose is two-fold: firstly to offer young people, often in need of a break in life, the experience of learning to work in the restaurant business and secondly, for our customers to enjoy fantastic food and knowledgeable customer service. The restaurant is the trading arm of a registered charity, the Jamie Oliver Foundation (no.1094536), and the profits go towards the apprenticeship scheme.

What is the Jamie Oliver Foundation?
The Jamie Oliver Foundation is a registered charity whose mission is to raise awareness of the importance of nutritious food and cooking and their impact on the lives of everyone, especially children and other vulnerable groups. It does this through assistance in education, training and employment.

How does Fifteen source its ingredients?
We are committed to sourcing seasonal, high quality ingredients from the best suppliers throughout the UK and Italy. What this means is fresh seasonal menus on a daily basis overseen by a team of 23 professional chefs dedicated to producing the very best Italian-Mediterranean food.
